Loving God
Today we say things like, “It’s not about rules and regulations—it’s about loving God.” So what is love for God? “This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome” 1 John 5:3 (This isn’t about “The 10” but “the perfect law that gives freedom,” James 1:25 “the law of Christ” Gal.6:2 see John 8:31,32)
Lesser of Two Evils
When you’re faced with choosing the “lesser of two evils”, don’t choose either evil. Choose God’s way. As someone said, “You can’t do God’s work the devil’s way.” Become so familiar with God’s ways through scripture reading and prayer that following Him is more natural than following the world.
